The book is made up of 238 pages and consist of 17 chapters covering all aspects of the global economics and geopolitics of oil. They range from US Energy Policy in the 21st Century to Caspian Oil and OPEC proven reserves to Middle East Oil, renewable energy and Iraq: the last great oil prize.
This is Dr Salameh's third book on oil. He has already published two books: "Is a Third Oil Crisis Inevitable?" (published in the UK in April 1990) and "Jordan's Energy Prospects and Needs to the Year 2010: The Economics Viability of Extracting Oil from Shale" (published in London in October 1998) as well as numerous research papers presented at international energy conferences around the world and published in specialized Oil and Energy Journals.
