To all my family, friends and fellow Lebanese citizens,

We all have to love our families, community of relatives and friends, society, country; and ultimately ourselves and the world. Basically and simply, everyone has to love Life itself!

We all belong to a "Holy Land which is praised as the Land of the Cedars of the Lord". My eternal wish list for all of you starts by an essential basic function described as helping unfold your true "Self" and equal to that function is helping others become strong to perfect themselves as unique individuals.

We will do it best by affording all persons the opportunity to show their feelings, express their aspirations and share their dreams. We must see the forces labeled "Evil" as emanating from suffering people, who like everyone, are "Human" and in the process of attempting to perfect their Beings!

We must combat these forces of evil through an active Love which is deeply concerned and engraved in each person�s free quest for self-discovery. We must believe that it is not the world that is ugly, but it is what Man has done to the world that makes it appear as such!

One must be a model, not of perfection, a state not often reached by Man but a model Human being. For being a good Human being is the greatest thing you can be! We must be able to forgive ourselves for being less than perfect by understanding that change is inevitable, as Charles Darwin said: It is not the largest of the species that survive, nor the strongest, but the most responsive to change. When change is directed in Love and Self-Realization, it is always good. We must all be convinced that behavior to be learned must be tried out, because as they say:"To be is to do".

We must learn that we can not be loved by all Men. That is the ideal in the world of Men and it is a state often not reached by Men. One can be one of the finest plums in the world, ripe, juicy, sweet, and succulent and offer ourselves to all! But one must always remember that there will be men who do not like plums! One must understand that the world's finest plum and someone you love who does not like plums, one has the choice of becoming an apple, for instance, but we will only be a second rate apple! So we have to be ourselves and behave accordingly in whatever ways that may mean!

We must endeavor to Love all Men even if we are not loved by them. We do not love to be loved in return; we must love just for the sake of Love and nothing else. We must reject no man, for we will realize that we are part of every man and to reject one man is to reject your own selves. We must know that if we love all Men and are rejected by some, we must not pull out in tear, pain, disappointment or anger. It is not the others fault; it is only that we were not ready for what was offered. So Love was not offered with conditions and we gave Love because we were fortunate enough to have it in order to give it because we felt joy in giving and not for what we would receive in return!

If we were rejected in one Love, there are thousands of others awaiting Love! The idea that there is but One right Loveis a complete deception because there are Many right Loves

All of these wishes will give everyone the strength to be a loving person for to be a Lover of Life requires that you continually have the subtlety of the very wise, the flexibility of the child, the sensitivity of the artist, the understanding of the philosopher, the acceptance of the saint, the tolerance of the dedicated, the knowledge of the scholar, the fortitude of the certain and above all the solitude of the Cedar tree. A tall order.

All these qualities will grow in everyone who chooses to learn about Love for these are already a part of their potential and will be realized through Active Loving. So it becomes and will always remain a matter of Loving Your Way to Love in whatever ways you choose.
