
Msakaa
Mnazzalet Potatoes or Eggplants

- Ingredients:
- 1 Kg. Potatoes or Eggplant.
- 1-cup dry chickpeas or one can.
- 1 Crushed Garlic bud.
- 1 Med. Onion.
- Salt & pepper as desired.
- 1 Tbl spoon of butter.
- 2 cups of water.
- 1/2 Cup of Tomato Paste.
- Directions:
- soak the dry Chickpeas for 12 hours.
- Peal and break the Chickpeas.
- Chop the onion and fry it in the butter till tender.
- Add the Chickpeas to the Onion and cook.
- Peel the Potato or the Eggplant and cut to cubes.
- Add the Tomato Sauce, Garlic and the salt.
- Add all ingredients to the water.
- Let it simmer till fully cooked.
- Serve cold.
